Marco Gaudino, a Washington state resident, has pleaded guilty to conspiracy in a federal case involving alleged hacking of computer systems connected to Fox News and other outlets. Gaudino conspired with journalist Tim Burke, who is still facing charges in the case. As part of his plea deal, Gaudino has agreed to cooperate with the investigation into Burke and other individuals involved. The case against Burke, who is married to Tampa City Councilmember Lynn Hurtak, stems from an alleged complaint by Fox News after Burke obtained unaired footage containing controversial statements by Tucker Carlson and Kanye West.
