The highly anticipated Phase 2 of The Underline, Miami’s 10-mile linear park and multimodal path, has officially opened. This new segment, known as the “Hammock Trail,” connects the existing Phase 1, “Brickell Backyard,” to north Coconut Grove. The trail offers safe walking and biking paths, enhanced connectivity, public art, and thousands of native plants and trees. Notable features include the Hammock Playground, Vizcaya Station Plaza, and Rain Garden. Phase 3, the final section of The Underline, is expected to open in segments beginning next year, completing the entire 10-mile trail.
