In episode 13 of The Midnight Studio, the evil ghost possessing Lee Seon-Ho stabs Ki-Joo. Han Bom realizes that Ki-Joo is still alive in the hospital, but the evil ghost tries to kill him again. Han Bom creates a safe zone to protect Ki-Joo, but the evil ghost pushes her off the roof. Ki-Joo manages to hold her hand and create a safe zone, which separates the evil ghost from them. Seon-Ho falls down the building, but the evil ghost escapes. Han Bom and Ki-Joo embrace each other before Ki-Joo disappears completely.
