According to Iranian state media, a helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi experienced a ‘hard landing’ on Sunday in the East Azerbaijan province. State TV reported the incident near Jolfa, a border city with Azerbaijan, but did not provide further details. Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian was also aboard the helicopter, but there were no immediate reports of injuries. Rescuers faced difficulties reaching the scene due to poor weather conditions, including heavy rains, fog, and wind.
