Rep. Elise Stefanik has filed an ethics complaint against New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan, alleging a conflict of interest due to his daughter’s company’s financial ties to the Harris campaign. The complaint comes after Judge Merchan delayed former President Trump’s sentencing until after the November election, raising concerns about potential bias.
The FBI is investigating allegations that sensitive documents from Donald Trump’s presidential campaign were stolen in a cyber intrusion, as well as attempts to gain access to Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign. The suspected perpetrator, Iran, has denied involvement. Microsoft has also reported increased Iranian cyber-enabled influence operations targeting the 2024 US election.
