The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released its third list of candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, fielding prominent figures against established politicians. The party has now declared candidates for 40 out of the 90 seats in the state assembly.
Rajesh Joon, a Congress leader who was denied a ticket from the Bahadurgarh Assembly seat in Haryana, has quit the party and will contest the upcoming elections as an independent candidate. This comes after the Congress released its first list of candidates for the Haryana Assembly polls on Friday, fielding sitting MLA Rajendra Singh Joon from Bahadurgarh. Joon claims he was ‘cheated’ and ‘used and thrown’ by the party.
