The Changeling (1980) is a horror film directed by Peter Medak. It follows a composer named John Russell who moves to Seattle to find some peace while grieving the death of his wife and daughter. He rents a large, old mansion to help him heal, but strange things start happening in the house. Russell learns that the spirit of a young boy who died there tragically is haunting the house. He investigates to try and help the spirit find peace, leading him to shocking truths. The film stars George C. Scott as John Russell. It is available to stream via Peacock.
