Oakland Tech Bulldogs cruised to an 30-0 victory over Fremont Tigers behind a strong pitching performance by Kalen Thomas, who threw a one-hitter and struck out seven batters. In softball, Presentation Lancers remained undefeated with an 18th straight win, defeating Gilroy Mustangs 8-0 behind a no-hitter from Kate Munnerlyn and Hailey Nguyen. Gilroy Mustangs maintained first place in the Blossom Valley Athletic League Mt. Hamilton Division with a 5-0 shutout win over Sobrato Bulldogs. Kingsway Dragons continued their undefeated season with an impressive 12-0 victory over Williamstown, thanks to a stellar performance from Jessa Pieters. Pieters went 2-for-2 with her second home run and drove in four runs, leading the Dragons to a commanding win.
In a dominant display, Egg Harbor claimed a convincing 10-1 victory over Hammonton in high school softball action. Led by Payton Colbert’s three RBIs and Laura Mack’s home run, Egg Harbor snapped their two-game losing streak. Kaci Velardi contributed with four hits and two runs, while Myra Coulter notched two hits for Hammonton.
