Mumbai Hit-and-Run Case: Accused Confess Roles, Police Recreate Scene

Both accused in the Mumbai hit-and-run case, Mihir Shah and Rajrishi Bidawat, have confessed to their roles in the crime after being confronted by police during interrogation. Amruta Nakhwa, daughter of Kaveri Nakhwa, who was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Mumbai, has demanded the death penalty for Mihir Shah, the son of Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah. Mihir Shah, who was arrested two days after the incident, has been accused of ramming his BMW car into a two-wheeler, killing Kaveri Nakhwa and injuring her husband. The victim’s husband, Pradeep Nakhwa, has accused the Maharashtra government of shielding the accused and expressed concerns about the delayed arrest and potential bail for Mihir Shah.
