HK Express is bringing back direct flights to Hiroshima, Japan, starting November 1st, offering budget-conscious travelers from Hong Kong a chance to explore the city’s rich history and natural beauty. The airline is also offering a special promotion on one-way tickets for a limited time.
Cathay Pacific and HK Express carried over 11.2 million passengers in the first five months of 2024, marking a significant rebound from the pandemic. May 2024 saw a notable increase in passenger numbers, revenue passenger kilometers, and cargo tonnage, fueled by a combination of leisure, business, and student travel, as well as strong cargo demand from Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. The airline is on track to reach 100% of its pre-pandemic passenger flight capacity by the first quarter of 2025.
