The United Arab Emirates has launched its inaugural Holy Quran TV channel, aiming to promote Islamic teachings and culture to boost Halal tourism. The channel, which broadcasts 24/7, features Quranic recitations, studies, lectures, and live broadcasts of religious events. This initiative is expected to contribute to the growth of the UAE’s tourism industry, particularly in the Halal tourism sector.
Danesh Kumar Palyani, a Hindu Senator of Pakistan’s Parliament, has criticized radical Islamists for allegedly forcing Hindu girls in Sindh province to convert to Islam. He cited the Holy Quran to address those who force conversions in the predominantly Muslim country and urged the government and citizens to stop these practices. Senator Palyani mentioned the case of 6-year-old Priya Kumari, a Hindu girl who was kidnapped and forcibly converted several years ago without any action being taken against the perpetrators.
