Eight years after the shooting death of a husband and father inside his family’s apartment, Glendale police have arrested a suspect. On Thursday, police announced the arrest of Joseph Adam Keller in connection to the homicide that occurred on April 22, 2016. The victim, Jose Sanchez, was found deceased in his kitchen with two gunshot wounds. The apartment was reportedly ransacked, and witnesses reported seeing four men fleeing the scene with stolen electronics and entering a uniquely-painted Dodge Avenger. Keller, who had spent time in prison for an unrelated matter, was initially questioned in 2016 and 2021 before being taken into custody on Thursday on charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery. The investigation into additional potential suspects remains ongoing.
