A fatal stabbing in Santa Cruz’s DeLaveaga Park has claimed the life of one man. The victim was acquainted with his killer, Joseph Dale Young, who has been arrested and charged with murder. The suspect, described as a man in his 20s, six feet tall, with a slim build, was last seen wearing camouflage jeans, blue shoes, and a long, green winter coat. He fled the scene in a grey 2016-2018 Ford Focus hatchback. Police believe he has ties to Edmonton and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
