Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) is set to launch a new route connecting Hong Kong to Huangshan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its stunning mountain scenery. The new route will commence on December 4, 2024, offering three flights a week. This expansion marks GBA’s continued commitment to connecting travelers to captivating destinations in mainland China.
Huangshan Tourism Group and Alipay have joined forces to launch the “International Visitor Friendly Scenic Spot” initiative, which aims to improve the travel experiences for international visitors in China. The initiative enables international tourists at Huangshan to utilize various convenient payment methods, receive tailored digital red packets for shopping discounts, and access travel guides and tips in 16 languages. Huangshan has become the premier destination for international tourists in Anhui Province, and Alipay has seen a surge in transaction volumes from international tourists using its platform in China.
