Raven SR Secures €1.4 Million Grant for Waste-to-Hydrogen Project in Spain

Raven SR, a renewable fuels company, has been awarded a €1.44 million grant from the Spanish Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge to develop a waste-to-renewable hydrogen production facility in Zaragoza, Spain. The project will utilize Raven’s non-combustion Steam/CO Reforming technology to convert organic waste into clean hydrogen fuel, marking the first industrial-scale implementation of this technology in Spain.

Spanish Airports to Host Hydrogen Hub Research

A consortium of leading aviation and energy companies, including Airbus, Aena, Air Nostrum, Iberia, Exolum, and Repsol, have joined forces to explore the development of Spain’s first hydrogen airport hub. This collaborative effort aims to address the challenges of integrating hydrogen-fueled aviation into Spain’s airport infrastructure, focusing on the entire supply chain, from production to ground-level management.
