Iberia is set to unveil the Airbus A321XLR, revolutionizing its long-haul fleet with enhanced sustainability and innovation. This narrow-body aircraft will enable transoceanic routes, expanding Iberia’s destination network, particularly in the Americas. The A321XLR’s reduced fuel consumption contributes to Iberia’s sustainability goals, while its extended range and increased capacity will support the airline’s expansion into new long-haul destinations.
During the upcoming winter season, Iberia plans to enhance its flight capacity between Madrid and Buenos Aires by 50%, bringing the total to 21 weekly flights. This significant increase from the 17 offered last winter provides customers with more flexibility and choice. Additionally, Iberia will utilize its state-of-the-art A350 aircraft on most flights, offering improved efficiency and a more comfortable travel experience. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Tango being recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, Iberia is hosting tango lessons at its temporary venue in Madrid.
