After a 13-month absence from the national team, Radha Yadav made a triumphant return, emerging as the leading wicket-taker and Player of the Series as India whitewashed hosts Bangladesh 5-0 in the T20 series. Yadav’s superb bowling, along with strong performances from Dayalan Hemalatha and Richa Ghosh, guided India to victory in the final T20I, which they won by 21 runs. The series triumph, which included Yadav claiming 10 wickets in five matches, has provided India with a major boost of confidence ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup in Bangladesh.

India has been placed in Group A alongside defending champions Australia, New Zealand, and Pakistan for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup, scheduled to take place in Bangladesh from October 3-20. India’s group matches will be played in Sylhet, beginning with a clash against New Zealand on October 4, followed by a highly anticipated encounter with arch-rivals Pakistan on October 6. The team will then face Qualifier 1 on October 9 and six-time world champions Australia on October 13. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals on October 17 and 18, with the final scheduled for October 20 in Dhaka.
