Two Foreign Mountaineers Rescued After Being Stranded on Chaukhamba III in Uttarakhand

Two experienced mountaineers, Michelle Theresa Dvorak from the United States and Fay Jane Manners from the United Kingdom, were rescued after being stranded for over a week at a height of 6,015 meters on Chaukhamba III peak in Uttarakhand. A joint operation by the Indian Air Force, State Disaster Response Force, and the State Disaster Management Authority successfully brought the women to safety.
