A male leopard that had been sighted near an Indo-Portuguese fort in Vasai since March 29 has been captured by forest officials, NGOs, and researchers. After installing multiple trap cameras and two cages, the leopard was trapped on Tuesday morning. The leopard has been taken to the Range Forest Office in Mandvi, Virar East for medical tests.
