OMA, backed by VINCI Airports, has initiated a 400 million euro investment in Monterrey International Airport, marking a significant step in a 5-year plan to enhance Mexico’s infrastructure. The project aims to increase the airport’s capacity by 50%, accommodating approximately 18 million passengers annually. This investment reinforces OMA’s commitment to modernizing and upgrading airport facilities in Nuevo León.
To address increasing traffic flow in Pinellas County, Florida, the Gateway Expressway Lanes are set to open on Friday. The $595 million project marks the introduction of the county’s first express lanes, including a toll road connecting Interstate 275, US-19, and the Bayside Bridge. Additionally, the project widens I-275 and adds express lanes in each direction between Gandy Boulevard and 4th Street North. This infrastructure improvement aims to ease commute times and provide faster access to key destinations.
