IAF Convoy Attack in Poonch: 5 Soldiers Injured, Hunt for Terrorists Launched

At least five Indian Air Force (IAF) soldiers sustained injuries when their convoy came under heavy fire from terrorists in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. The attack occurred as the convoy was traveling towards Sanai Top in the district’s Surankote area. Security forces have cordoned off the area and initiated a hunt for the attackers. The injured soldiers have been airlifted to Command Hospital, Udhampur for treatment. Security has been stepped up in the region following the attack.

Two Cavalry Horses Seriously Injured After London Rampage

Two out of five Household Cavalry horses that bolted through central London on Wednesday are in a serious condition, according to Defence Procurement Minister James Cartlidge. The horses, named Quaker and Vida, were spooked by crashing building materials near Buckingham Palace and rampaged for six miles, smashing into cars, a taxi, and a bus. Three soldiers and a fourth person were injured during the incident.
