Tragic Shooting in Oak Forest Leaves One Fatality

A shooting incident in Oak Forest, Illinois, on Sunday afternoon resulted in one fatality and two severe injuries. Police responded to the scene on Babette Court shortly after 5 p.m. and found three victims with gunshot wounds. Two were transported to the hospital in critical condition, and one was treated and released. One of the critical patients later succumbed to their injuries. A vehicle believed to be involved in the incident was intercepted, and one person inside sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, while another was taken into custody.
