From May 6th to May 20th, 2024, Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi will be hosting an interactive pop-up event titled ‘Meet Me in Shanghai.’ This immersive experience will provide travelers with a taste of Shanghai’s vibrant culture, iconic landmarks, and culinary delights. Engaging activities include the Shanghai Immersive Parallax Photo Booth, themed zones featuring a Shanghai Coffee Shop and Xiaolongbao Shop, and an Instagram competition with exciting prizes. The event aims to showcase Shanghai as a top tourist destination while enhancing cultural exchange and stimulating excitement about travel.

The interactive exhibition, which has attracted over 100,000 visitors since its opening on February 16th, has been extended due to overwhelming demand. The exhibition offers a captivating experience, allowing visitors to explore recreations of the ship’s iconic interiors and learn about the passengers and crew aboard the ill-fated vessel. Visitors will embark on their journey with a boarding pass representing a passenger’s name and class, and discover their fate at the end of the exhibit. The exhibition boasts numerous artifacts, including a postcard sent by a 19-year-old crew member, a piece of the Grand Staircase, and more.
