Interlune Secures DOE Grant to Boost Domestic Helium-3 Supply

Interlune, a natural resources company focused on lunar mining, has received a $365,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to develop innovative technology for separating Helium-3 from domestic Helium supplies. This new approach utilizes extremely cold temperatures to extract Helium-3 without producing additional tritium, a critical element used in nuclear weapons. Interlune’s mission is to not only address the growing demand for Helium-3 on Earth but also to pave the way for harvesting this valuable resource from the Moon in the future.
