Virat Kohli Likes Mohammed Kaif’s Criticism of Umpiring Decision in RCB vs. KKR Clash

Virat Kohli has expressed his displeasure with the umpiring decision that led to his dismissal in the match against KKR by liking a post by former cricketer Mohammed Kaif. Poor umpiring.”

Time for KKR to Rest Mitchell Starc?

Kolkata Knight Riders’ Mitchell Starc has been expensive this IPL season, conceding the most boundaries (44) and having a poor return of six wickets for 287 runs in seven games. Despite KKR’s strong start to the season with five wins in seven matches, Starc’s economy rate between the 16-20 overs is 13.7, the fourth worst among those who have bowled a minimum of five overs at the death this term. The team may consider resting Starc for their next two home games to allow him to regain his form and better contribute to the pace bowling group.

Umpire’s Decision on Virat Kohli’s Dismissal Backed by Former India Player

Former India player Harbhajan Singh defended the umpire’s decision to dismiss Virat Kohli during an IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders. Kohli, who was well outside the popping crease, was given out on a beamer delivery that would have dipped below the waistline if he had stayed in the crease. Harbhajan explained that the BCCI measures the height of each player and if the ball passes above the waistline, it is given as a no-ball. However, in Kohli’s case, the ball was below his waistline at 0.92m.
