Tourism Ireland and Indy NXT driver James Roe have teamed up to showcase the beauty of Ireland to racing enthusiasts in the United States. The partnership involves the creation of short videos featuring Roe’s favorite activities in Ireland, such as visiting iconic spots in Dublin and Kildare. The videos will be aired on Facebook and Instagram as part of Tourism Ireland’s ‘Fill Your Heart with Ireland’ campaign.

Pakistan recalls Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali for England, Ireland T20 tour

Pakistan have recalled fast bowler Haris Rauf and all-rounder Hasan Ali for this month’s T20 tour of England and Ireland. Rauf has been injured since February and is still working back to full fitness, while Ali – currently playing for Warwickshire on an overseas deal – is back in the fold having last played the format in 2022. Salman Ali Agha also returns in an 18-man squad, which will play three games in Dublin before a four-match series in England prior to the T20 World Cup.

Amy Broadhurst Switches to Great Britain for Olympic Qualifying Event

Former Irish world boxing champion Amy Broadhurst has made the decision to represent Great Britain in the upcoming Olympic qualifying event in Thailand, after being snubbed for selection by Irish officials. Broadhurst holds both British and Irish passports and is eligible to represent Northern Ireland or Great Britain through her father. Having won world gold in the light-welterweight division in 2022 and European and Commonwealth Games titles in the same year, Broadhurst expressed her regret at not being selected by Ireland but emphasized her determination to pursue her Olympic dream. She has been welcomed by her new teammates and coaches at GB Boxing and looks forward to giving herself the best possible chance of securing a place at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
