ITA Airways is expanding its North American presence by launching a new route between Rome Fiumicino Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport. The airline has prioritized North America as part of its summer 2024 expansion strategy and has also recently launched a Chicago service. ITA believes the Toronto route represents a significant product offering, enhancing connections from North America, their largest market after Italy. The flights will operate initially six times a week, increasing to daily during the busy summer months using Airbus A330 aircraft.
