ITC Hotels has expanded its presence in Madhya Pradesh by taking over the management of the historic Lunera ki Sarai in Mandu, transforming it into Welcomhotel Mandu. The resort, steeped in 16th and 17th century history, offers 94 rooms, multiple dining options, meeting spaces, a spa, and a swimming pool. This move positions Mandu as a top destination in the region, attracting tourists, historians, and art enthusiasts.
ITC Hotels has partnered with the Dangayach Group to establish a luxurious Storii branded resort in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The upcoming resort will feature 119 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and extensive space for banquets and meetings. The resort will be strategically located on the Jodhpur-Jaisalmer Road, east of the city. The design of the resort will be inspired by the iconic yellow sandstone of Jaisalmer, with fort-like architecture and luxurious interiors that reflect the cultural richness of the region. Anil Chadha, Chief Executive of ITC Hotels, expressed excitement about the project, stating that it will allow the company to enter a popular leisure market with its Storii brand. Harimohan Dangayach, Chairman & Founder of Dangayach Group, also expressed happiness at the signing ceremony, highlighting the strong positioning of the Storii brand and the operational strength of ITC Hotels.
