Hundreds of expatriate Malayalis working in the Arabian Gulf countries have returned home to vote in the Lok Sabha elections. The Kerala Muslim Cultural Committees (KMCC) chartered several flights to bring them back. The KMCC, the overseas cultural wing of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), has been actively involved in the electoral campaign.
