Yussef Dayes and Sampha lead the nominations with nods for their individual albums and their collaboration on Sampha’s ‘Spirit 2.0.’ Daniel Pemberton is also recognized for his scoring work in film and television. The Ivors, unlike other music awards, emphasize songwriting and composition, celebrating the craft of lyrics and melodies. Artists such as the Beatles, Amy Winehouse, Stormzy, and Adele have been honored by the Ivors since their inception in 1955.
