The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting simultaneous raids at 22 locations across five Indian states, targeting individuals suspected of involvement with the Jaish-e-Mohammad terror group. The raids are taking place in Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, and Delhi.
Bilal Ahmad Kuchey, one of the nineteen individuals charged in connection with the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, passed away in Kishtwar district jail due to a heart attack. Kuchey, along with others, was accused of providing shelter and support to Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorists involved in the attack that killed 40 CRPF personnel. This incident highlights the ongoing security challenges posed by terrorist activities in the region.
