Former light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill is set to return to the Octagon against top contender Khalil Rountree at UFC 303 on June 29th. Hill, who lost his title to Alex Pereira at UFC 300, will be looking to get back on track against the surging Rountree, who has won five straight fights. The card will also feature the highly anticipated return of former two-division champion Conor McGregor against Michael Chandler in the main event.
The UFC 303 card is quickly taking shape with the addition of several fights, including a light heavyweight bout between Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr. Hill is coming off a knockout loss at UFC 300, while Rountree is on a five-fight winning streak. Former UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo has also expressed interest in fighting at UFC 303, calling out former bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz. Cruz has not fought since August 2022 and is 39 years old, but he has not officially announced his retirement.
UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira defended his title with a quick knockout of Jamahal Hill at UFC 300. Pereira is eager to fight again soon and has expressed interest in moving up to heavyweight.
