Andhra Pradesh Election Results 2024: NDA Alliance Leads in Majority of Seats

The NDA alliance, comprising the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Janasena Party, is leading in a majority of parliamentary constituencies in Andhra Pradesh, according to the latest trends reported by the Election Commission of India (ECI). The TDP is ahead in 16 Lok Sabha seats, while the BJP is leading in 3 and Janasena in 2. The YSRCP is trailing behind in most constituencies, with a lead in only 4 Lok Sabha seats.

BJP-NDA Clean Sweep in Andhra, YSRCP, TDP, Janasena ‘B’ Team of BJP: Modi, Rahul

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has predicted a clean sweep for the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. He said that he does not believe that the present government led by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy will be voted back to power. Modi’s comments came during an interview with Telugu news channel NTV. He said that the BJP and TDP are fighting the elections as partners in the NDA, and that the Janasena Party is also with them this time. Modi added that he is confident that the NDA will win a majority of Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh and form the next government in the state. Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, meanwhile, claimed that the YSRCP, TDP, and Janasena are the ‘B’ team of the BJP in Andhra Pradesh. He said that the remote control of these three leaders is with PM Modi.

Pawan Kalyan Declares Assets of Rs 164.53 Crore, Faces Eight Criminal Cases

Janasena founder and actor Pawan Kalyan has declared that his family has assets worth Rs 164.53 crore and an income of nearly Rs 60 crore in the last four years. However, he also declared liabilities of Rs 65.77 crore. Despite showing a loss in his Income Tax returns, Kalyan owns 11 vehicles worth over Rs 14 crore, including a Harley Davidson bike and Range Rover. The actor-politician also faces eight criminal cases, including provocative speeches and violation of Motor Vehicle Rules.
