Malayalam actor Jayasurya is facing two sexual harassment allegations, prompting him to take legal action. The allegations came to light amidst the ongoing #MeToo movement in the Malayalam film industry, sparked by the release of the Hema Committee report. One complaint was filed by actress Sonia Malhar, who accused Jayasurya of grabbing her during the filming of ‘Pigman’. The second complaint was filed by actress Minu Muneer, who alleged that Jayasurya hugged and kissed her forcefully during a film project. Jayasurya has denied the allegations and stated that he will be pursuing legal action to prove his innocence.
