The 2024 Monster Energy Supercross season continues with a rare daytime race in Philadelphia, marking the second new market this season after Birmingham, Alabama. The race will be the first stadium race in Philadelphia in 44 years and only the second Supercross event in the city’s history. Jett Lawrence, the championship leader, will face his struggles in non-standard formats and muddy events. Cooper Webb, trailing Lawrence by five points, needs to win a race and finish ahead of his rival in the remaining three rounds to control his fate. Jo Shimoda is gaining momentum with consistent podium finishes, while Nashville has become a brutal round with multiple riders suffering injuries last year and this year.
