Shergill, who was the last to be cast in the movie, faced an unexpected setback with an injury that threatened his ability to participate in the training sessions. However, during the ‘havan’ ceremony at Yash Chopra’s residence, he was introduced to Bachchan, who humorously acknowledged his bandaged hand and referred to his character’s frequent injuries. Shergill also encountered Shah Rukh Khan that day, who has remained cordial with him ever since.
