A tragic series of drowning incidents occurred across Bihar during the ‘Jivitputrika’ festival, claiming the lives of at least 43 people, including 37 children. The incidents, reported from 15 districts, highlighted the dangers of taking holy dips in rivers and ponds without proper safety measures.
