Ventura Teenagers Arrested for Armed Robbery with ‘Ghost Gun’

Two Ventura teenagers, aged 14 and 17, were arrested after robbing a 41-year-old woman of her purse at gunpoint. The teens approached the woman on Harbor Boulevard and brandished an unserialized gun, known as a ‘ghost gun.’ They fled on bicycles with the stolen purse but were apprehended shortly after by officers who found the loaded ghost gun and some of the victim’s property. During a pursuit on Tuesday night in Boyle Heights, a stolen vehicle containing four juveniles crashed after failing to yield to authorities, resulting in all four being hospitalized. The incident occurred when Deputies with the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station spotted the stolen car and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The suspects refused to comply, leading to a chase that ended when the teens lost control on an off-ramp and crashed into a wall, destroying their vehicle and trapping three of them inside. Emergency responders arrived to extract the juveniles from the wreckage and transport them to a local hospital for medical treatment. Their exact ages and the extent of their injuries remain uncertain, but the male suspects are believed to be between 12-14 years old. 17-Year-Old Sentenced to Life in Prison for Lancaster County Murder

Elijahuwon Brown, 17, was sentenced to 32 ½ years to life in prison for the shooting death of 23-year-old Rolando Rivera in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in 2021. Brown was 14 at the time of the murder and pleaded guilty to criminal homicide and firearm offenses. Police found Rivera with multiple gunshot wounds and determined the manner of death to be homicide. Brown apologized to Rivera’s family during the sentencing hearing.
