Shaitaan, a psychological thriller starring Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan, made a mark in 2024 as the Bollywood remake of the Gujarati film Vash. Despite being a remake, it gained immense popularity and became the third-highest opening of the year. The film’s box office journey was impressive, accumulating a lifetime collection of 149.49 crores. Produced by Jio Studios, Devgn Films and Panorama Studios, Shaitaan is now set for an OTT release.
The second track from Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Srikanth’, titled ‘Papa Kehte Hain’, is out, offering a fresh twist on the iconic ‘Papa Kahte Hain’ from Aamir Khan’s ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’. The heartwarming video features Jyothika and Alaya F, while the song, sung by Udit Narayan and recreated by Aditya Dev, pays homage to the original by Anand Milind. ‘Srikanth’, a biographical drama about Srikanth Bolla, releases on May 10, 2024.
