Amid the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, Brij Bhushan Singh, a strongman from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has exuded confidence in his son Karan Singh’s victory from the Kaisarganj Lok Sabha seat. Singh has also downplayed the sexual harassment charges leveled against him by women wrestlers, stating that they will only serve to increase his party’s vote share. He believes that his son, Karan Singh, will secure a resounding victory and will work even more effectively than he has as a representative of the constituency.
Singh remains optimistic that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government will be re-elected for a third term with a significant majority, despite facing various obstacles and distractions during their tenure. On Monday, Singh cast his vote in Kaiserganj, expressing his faith that his son will be elected with double the number of votes he received in the 2019 polls.
Meanwhile, voting for the fifth phase of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections 2024 is currently underway across 49 Parliamentary constituencies in six States and two Union Territories. Several prominent leaders are vying for electoral success in this phase, including Rahul Gandhi, Rajnath Singh, Smriti Irani, and Karan Bhushan Singh.
