Bengaluru Braces for More Rains as IMD Predicts Continued Showers, Heavy Rains Hit Other Karnataka Districts

Bengaluru is expected to experience more rain today, October 22, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms. While schools and Anganwadis in the city were closed yesterday due to heavy rains, there is no such announcement today. Meanwhile, other parts of Karnataka are facing heavier rainfall, with isolated heavy rain predicted in Udupi, Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar, Chikballapura, and Kolar districts. The IMD has also issued warnings for heavy rains in Odisha and West Bengal due to the approaching Cyclone Dana.
