Buddha Air to Launch Flights from Kathmandu to Pakyong, Enhancing Nepal-Sikkim Connectivity

Buddha Air, a private airline in Nepal, is preparing to launch flights from Kathmandu to Pakyong, Sikkim, to improve travel efficiency between the two regions. The airline visited Pakyong Airport to assess its feasibility, and is awaiting DGCA approval to commence operations. With plans for two daily flights and estimated fares ranging from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 7,000, the new route is expected to bolster tourism, business partnerships, and economic growth in both Nepal and Sikkim.
