Kempinski Hotels Names Barbara Muckermann as CEO

Kempinski Hotels, Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group, has appointed Barbara Muckermann as its new Chief Executive Officer. Muckermann brings over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently serving as CEO of Silversea Cruises. She will oversee Kempinski’s global expansion plans, which include adding 34 new hotels and residences in the coming years. Muckermann’s appointment marks a significant milestone as she becomes the first woman to lead the company in its 127-year history.
