A recent evaluation of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) across India has exposed critical challenges affecting the schools’ ability to provide quality education to girls from marginalized communities. Issues include lack of transparency in fund utilization, infrastructure deficiencies, teacher shortages, safety concerns, and inadequate amenities. This report highlights the need for immediate attention and action to address these problems and ensure the successful implementation of the KGBV program.
