Three-week-old kittens were discovered in a plastic bag in an onion field in Huron, California. They were found tied up and nearly suffocated to death, weighing less than a pound each. Bianca Ibarra rescued the kittens and contacted Alexis Oxford, an Animal Care lead at Valley Oak SPCA in Visalia. Oxford has been caring for the kittens around-the-clock, force-feeding them and ensuring their health. The kittens are expected to be ready for adoption in five weeks.
