Porter Robinson has announced his highly anticipated third studio album, ‘SMILE! :D’, set to release on July 26th via MOM+POP Records. Accompanying the album announcement, Robinson unveils the infectious new single ‘Knock Yourself Out XD’, following the previously released ‘Cheerleader’. ‘Knock Yourself Out XD’ showcases Robinson’s transition into a pop-oriented style, with its euphoric lyrics and energetic rhythm. The album follows Robinson’s critically acclaimed 2021 release, ‘Nurture’, which explored themes of hope and mental health. In an interview with NME, Robinson expressed his fears of not being able to create music again, emphasizing the importance of the album’s hopeful and uplifting tone. Additionally, Robinson has contributed to Daft Punk’s upcoming book ‘After Daft’.
