Turkey Launches Airstrikes on Kurdish Militants in Iraq and Syria After Deadly Ankara Attack

In retaliation for a deadly terror attack on a Turkish defense company near Ankara, Turkey’s air force conducted airstrikes targeting Kurdistan Workers Party (KWP) militants in Iraq and Syria. The attack, which killed five and injured 22, is believed to have been carried out by Kurdish militants. Turkey’s defense ministry confirmed the airstrikes, stating that over 30 targets were destroyed, while emphasizing efforts to minimize civilian casualties.
