India and China held diplomatic talks to address the ongoing border tensions along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), aiming to narrow down differences and find a resolution. India and China held discussions on the situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) during the 31st meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation & Coordination (WMCC) in Beijing. The two sides aimed to narrow down differences and find an early resolution to outstanding issues, reiterating the importance of peace and tranquility along the LAC for normalizing bilateral relations.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has highlighted India’s assertive and confident foreign policy stance, particularly regarding China. In an interview, Jaishankar emphasized the Modi government’s leadership in navigating complex international scenarios and underscored India’s clear and confident positions on global issues, with a specific focus on China.
