LanzaJet Secures $20 Million Investment from Groupe ADP to Advance Sustainable Aviation Fuel Production

LanzaJet, a leader in sustainable fuels technology, has received a $20 million investment from Groupe ADP, a global airport operator. This funding will support LanzaJet’s expansion of its sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production technology worldwide. The investment follows the opening of the company’s Freedom Pines Fuels plant, the first commercial-scale ethanol-to-SAF facility in the world. LanzaJet aims to produce one billion gallons of SAF by 2030, contributing to the decarbonization of the aviation industry.

Microsoft Invests in LanzaJet’s Sustainable Fuels Technology

LanzaJet, a leader in sustainable fuels technology, has received an investment from Microsoft’s Climate Innovation Fund. This funding will enable LanzaJet to expand its capabilities and deploy its sustainable fuels process technology globally. Furthermore, LanzaJet and Microsoft intend to explore the application of Microsoft’s data and AI to optimize LanzaJet’s operations and SAF production process.
