Ivy House School Embarks on Unique Project to Create a Train Carriage Library for Students with Disabilities

Ivy House School in Littleover, Derby, is embarking on an innovative project to convert a retired train carriage into a new library for its pupils. The Shaw Education Trust announced that the Ivy House Express will be an “immersive and engaging” facility. The train carriage library aims to enhance the learning experience by providing a stimulating environment that captures students’ imaginations and fosters a love of reading. The project is expected to be completed by the start of the next academic year.
